The Curve Hell Mission comp was run to find the best story about a surfing Hell Mission. The comp received a great response with sh*tloads of entries featuring stories from all over the world. While the judging was difficult (it took the panel over a week of 'discussing' to agree) we can finally announce we have selceted the winner – Steve Sosich
We liked Steve's story cause we reckon it sums up the spirit of surf expeditions. Being prepared to chase semi mystical waves, taking a few risks and learning a few tricks on the way... all helped Steve's entry. Whats more it leaves ya wondering... what would you have done in the same situation? The fact the Curve team thinks it might have faced the same farmer in our own adventures is incidental, although it’s quite good to see someone else sharing our pain... in a strange kind of way.
Overall we were so impressed with the quality of entries that we added a second place prize along with four 'bloody good' awards.
Congratulations to all winners from the team at Curve!
