The 'mini-me' of Lockdown racks, we've made the Curve travel racks as small as possible to squeeze into your boardbag or luggage when traveling overseas. Losing your boards off the roof is the last thing you want after getting them safely to the airport, but most rental cars don't have fixed roofracks which means that plain tiedowns wont do the job. So we've built full softrack performance into a compact size by eliminating the bulky foam padding (seeing as your surfboards will be in protective boardbags anyway). With Curve travelracks you can relax knowing your boards can be safely secured via the lockdown system to any vehicle with a roof - without having to pay fees for carrying too much luggage!

tips for use
  • reduce vibrations / wind noise by adding a twist to top straps before connecting.
  • position camlock and hook away from rails of surfboards. Adjust by repositioning or changing length of strap.
  • for best tightening straps should be spread on surfboard rails.
  • always tie off straps around camlock to prevent unintentional release.
  • when removing surfboards via top hook ease tension on straps first by releasing camlock.
  • camlock is designed to bite into webbing. If stiff to release, bunch free strap under thumb to allow for extra cushioning and extra force.
  • max load 6 shortboards or 3 longboards.
  • softracks may cause leakage in wet weather.
